Have you considered porting the application to GTK 4? Is it even doable?

updating to gtk4 is certainly doable, however I've not worked on this project for a while now and there are larger issues (#37) that could use a looking at before something like this

There's now a functional GTK4 branch but the layout is a bit squiffy due to adwaita not letting me change its silly defaults. I'm not sure how I'm going to fix that but yeah, there's a working gtk4 version: https://github.com/ChildishGiant/mixer/tree/gtk4
