I started programming during the lockdown out of pure curiosity, and I quickly discovered two things about myself: I love crafting beautiful UIs, and I love digging deep into how things work. That curiosity first led me into web development—starting with JavaScript, then growing into frameworks like Next.js and Svelte—where I built interactive, user-focused applications.
Over time, I expanded into systems programming, exploring Rust (my favorite) and Zig. With Rust, I’ve worked on projects like SubmergeUI, an open-source library that brings Tailwind-like styling to the Bevy game engine, and Dive, a simple key-value store inspired by Redis. These experiences deepened my appreciation for performance, memory safety, and the low-level details that power the software we all rely on.
Today, I bring together both worlds—web development expertise and a growing body of systems programming experience—to build efficient, thoughtful solutions. I’m currently open to work and excited to collaborate on projects that push me to keep learning and solving challenging problems.
