Adding column with total value for state

Would it be possible to add a column to table csse_covid_19_daily_reports/--2020.csv with the total number for each state? It would be repeated in each row for each County in the State but that's ok as long as the total value for the state is correct. This would help with charts as it would it make it easier to sort by state with the largest number of cases and it would also make it possible to display the total number per state in the chart extracted from the 'Total' column. As it is, the person doing the chart needs to do all these calculations, and transformations which introduces the opportunity for errors. I think this would be a useful addition. Thank you for making these data available.
