Issue with backdoor

I was testing Sliver for the first time and I noticed that the backdoor option will prevent the program of our choice from starting correctly. Specifically, if I backdoor say chrome.exe, when I try to open it, it will connect to the C2 but will not open, raising suspicions.

Given this problem, is there any way to unbackdoor it?
