AzureRM PowerShell modules retirement and Microsoft Azure PowerShell Service Management module

Hello,

does AzureRM module retirement affect Azure PowerShell Service Management module too (https://www.powershellgallery.com/packages/Azure/5.3.1)?

This module has a dependency on Azure.Storage (and therefore AzureRM.Profile). My understanding is that Az module cannot be used to manage "classic" resources like Azure Cloud Services (classic) which will be retired on 31st of August 2024. Will it be possible to use "Azure PowerShell Service Management module" to manage classic resources until end of August 2024?

1. Azure 5.3.1 is an earlier version than AzureRM, although it does not affect each other, we will not continue to upgrade and maintain Azure 5.3.1, but you can still continue to use it.

2. I guess it's not possible to use the “Azure PowerShell Service Management Module“ to manage classic resources, but I will double confirm. And the Azure AD Graph API should also be retired in 2024, which I think will affect your login steps if you continue to use Azure 5.3.1. I also suggest that you migrate classic resources and migrate to Azure PowerShell service management. The Azure PowerShell service management module manages resources through ARM.
