Quick summary
The failed automatic renewal emails that we send to the user does not mention that we will attempt payment again. The email says:
A problem with the WordPress.com Pro plan renewal for {{siteaddress}} still needs to be resolved. Update the payment information, otherwise the plan will expire in 20 days and the site’s content may not appear as intended.
This is misleading because a user might think the subscription would automatically expire and can ignore this message. However, our system, retries renewal and it can be successful.
The email should clarify that.

What actually happened
Our system retried the renewal and it renewed.
