Steps to reproduce the issue

• Change the theme to Twenty Twenty (the default theme)
• Create a new post with the following paragraph:
  • This $latex \LaTeX$ snippet should appear inline.

What I expected

This LaTeX snippet should appear inline.

I expected the LaTeX image to be shown inline with the surrounding text.

What happened instead

This
LaTeX
snippet should appear inline.

The LaTeX image was shown on its own line, presumably due to a CSS rule for the Twenty Twenty theme that a display: block rule for images.
