To computer: Connect AMUSBMOUNT to your computer using a USB-C cable. The
PC (pwr)LED will light up.Tip: Use a high-quality cable to ensure reliable operation.

To mount: Use the RJ45 connector and either the original hand controller cable or a standard (straight, preferably shielded) Ethernet cable. The
MOUNT (pwr)LED confirms a successful connection.The mount must be powered and switched on.
- Recommended installation: Use the included 3M DualLock Reclosable Fastener for secure, vibration-resistant mounting.
- Preparation: Clean (degrease) the surface before attaching the fastener and press firmly for best results.
- Long distance operation: For longer distances, use a longer RJ45 (Ethernet) cable between the mount and converter. Avoid USB-C cables longer than 5m for best reliability.
- Power LEDs (Red): Show power status for the computer and mount.
- Data LEDs (Orange): Show data transfer directions (
TX= PC to mount,RX= mount to PC).
No drivers required! AMUSBMOUNT01 works out-of-the-box with modern Linux distributions and is compatible with popular control software such as INDI and KStars. Simply connect and enjoy advanced control.
