Currently we don't run the test on new commit push or when merging PRs. We should update our Travis configuration for doing that automatically.

Apart from running the tests using Node.js, we should test some packages on a browser (validation, crypto and client?)

Tests currently do not run on Travis because it would require a paid plan for private repositories.
