Use amrex_particles_vtp.py as
python amrex_particles_vtp.py <minfilenum> <maxfilenum> fileprefix
Example:
python amrex_particles_vtp.py 0 2 samplefiles/particles
For amrex_binary_particles_to_vtp.py, do:
python amrex_binary_particles_to_vtp.py plotfilename particle_type
Example:
python amrex_binary_particles_to_vtp.py plt000354 DM
The vtp files are written in the folder where the amrex particle files reside.
