When will wlr/workspaces not require experimental?

0.9.14 must be built with -Dexperimental=true for this module to be functional on Hyprland (not sure about other compositors). Context.

I guess when https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/wayland/wayland-protocols/-/merge_requests/40 is merged is a good time to declare it to non-experimental? Until it's merged, they may still be incompatible changes

Can this get an update? I would prefer to be able to just use wlr/workspaces instead of (hyprland/sway)/workspaces using the regular pacman extra package.

AFAIK pacman/extra builds with that flag since 2023 for this exact reason: https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/waybar/-/commit/9cde88264d1c224d14ea7c45652edb581d7610aa

Though tbh, It's probably time to compile ext/workspaces / wlr/workspaces by default.
