I've encountered that waybar doesn't seem to handle continuous commands very well. When I launch hyprlock from the terminal and turn off my monitors (because sleep doesn't work on my computer) it goes fine. But if I do the same by pressing a button on waybar, whether thats a direct link to the command hyprlock or using wlogout to do the same task, ends up crashing when I turn my main monitor back on (apparently turning off my secondary one works fine).
The point is that I want to be able to run these commands but tricks that normally work like putting sleep 1 at the start or & disown at the end don't work.
