Issue Details

Steps to reproduce:

1. Make sure HTTPS filtering is enabled
2. Try to search something in Google on Opera GX
3. Browser instantly crashes

Browser instantly crashed

Doesn't crash on incognito or any other search engine.
Sometimes certificate reinstall helps for few minutes, but after sth around 5 minutes, the problem returns.

We have not been able to reproduce the problem. Could you please try to install the latest beta version of AdGuard for Windows which is available here and see if the problem persists?

If it does, please record the app logs for us. Here's what you need to do:

1. Collect the debug log as it's explained here.
2. Remember the exact time when the issue was reproduced. We will need it to find the corresponding records in the log file.
3. Send the archive to devteam@adguard.com and mention this issue number in the subject.

Also, please open AdGuard → Settings → General settings → Export settings… and send the generated file along with logs.

Thank you for the provided details. Could you please try resetting your Settings to default and check if the issue still persists after that? To do so please open AdGuard → Settings → General settings and press the Reset settings to defaults button.

For now it's working fine. I've also turned the HTTPS filtering on, which caused the problem with previous settings and I haven't seen the problem anymore. I'll just keep using this settings and see if it helps.

I was trying to figure out what exact setting caused the problem. I found out that when I have HTTPS filtering and Hide User Agent enabled the problem returns.

That's strange. We are still unable to reproduce this issue with the above options enabled. Could you please record debug logs of this issue with your current settings and send them to us?
