  1. First of all, there should be a smart way of detecting installed apps and apps we'd like to be filtered. Setting "filtered apps" manually is a hell of an issue.

  2. Each app should have special "details" screen with it's own settings.

  3. We should divide apps into two categories: apps and browsers.

Apps filtering should be limited, stealth mode shouldn't be applied, extensions shouldn't be injected.
Users should be able to change app type manually.

Another reference (we'd like to have simple Firewall rules there as well):

This will help us solve the issues like that:

Consider adding more executables (or even filtering all save for a few exceptions).

For instance:
SystemPosixSpawnServer.exe (#1859)

We plan to fix it within the release, which will be through two after the 6.3

Microsoft Mahjong app
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Mahjong\Mahjong.exe
But when I add it to filtered apps, I don't see requests in the log, and ads are not blocked(but I can block them using Fiddler)

@ameshkov i was wondering if there is a way for you guys to implement some kind of a duplicate filtering as i'm pretty sure there are duplicates within the default filters or at least against the custom user filter?

@dnmTX duplicate rules are simply ignored

Any news to this? It's really a pain in the ass to work with the list. The performance is poor, the list window is small but the entries huge...

Also it should have a button/link to remove all missing files for cleanup

Took me quite some time to get back to this task. I'll post an update then the UI mockup is ready.

Just wanted to add that using the absolute executable path of UWP/Store apps is not good because of the constant path changes on version updates.
