Please add the ability to log into account in the desktop app using the link through the browser. This would be very handy for anyone using a password manager.

@Chinaski1 i have to ask that too, because of Login with apple (in my case), google and facebook, these social connection create a password (or not not really sure how it work), and in these case, when the application ask us to connect to verify our licence we are totally unable to do it, if the app, generate an id and launch in the browser (to validate it through it), and it enable multiple thing.
Unify the connection process on the website (the all the application only verify if the id is validated or not for the account (so it reduce possibility of security vulnerability in the app during the password verification (and of course reduce the size of the app)).
The revocation process and the authentication process is now the same so no code must really be added to the app.
Native support of Social login (the current method of connection "block" since we do not have user/password in this case).
Connection process will be futur proof (if you like other web service switch to passwordless connection the application will be immediately up to date (when the website have implemented it).
