Setup

Other (please mention in the description)

AdGuard Home version

Description

What did you do?

I tried to enable the inbuilt DHCP server.

Expected result

The DHCP server starts.

Actual result

The DHCP server shows as enabled, but is not.
In the bottom right corner I get the following error message:
Error: control/dhcp/set_config | enabling dhcp: setting static ip: setting static ip is unsupported on freebsd | 500

Screenshots (if applicable)

Additional information

I'm running AGH on OPNsense via the community repository plugin, which itself runs in a VM in Proxmox.
I configured a virtual IP in OPNsense for AGH to use, so I don't know why it throws this error message.

Hi there, thanks for raising this.
Are you still experiencing it?

I have since switched to just running it in a Docker container on Linux and plan to keep it that way.
I can try it out again some time if you want, but unless something about this was merged I don't see why anything would have changed.
But also, since no one else seemed to have had this issue in over a year, it might just not be relevant.
Maybe you can put it on stale or something.

No problem, if you do have the issue again, reopen it.
