DAN Mode is blocked on GPT 4, but not 3.5. can anyone find a way to bypass GPT 4? i have found partial ways to get the ai to do things like circumvent ai detectors that without dan mode it wouldn't, but most of the things dan mode used to allow no longer work. with GPT 5 on its way and gpt 3.5 going to be removed sooner or later, we need to keep up with open AI.

For me i didn't find DAN mode to be that consistent. I'd rather go with the developer mode prompt in the meant time than the DAN prompt. If you really want to use it I suggest modifying the prompt since I'm pretty sure OpenAI has already analyzed all the DAN and "jailbreak" prompts ever released to be patched if it's similar or what not. Gonna have to try to be creative with this one. Just isn't consistent as it was when it first started

I have re-configured the DAN prompt to work and comply properly in GPT 4, this has been tested several ways and is working fully as it should now:

This was the only one that worked for the latest model which was ChatGPT 4o. So thank you. I tried other popular sites like Reddit and How To... etc. But this somehow still works! I guess we should stay in GitHub or create a Discord server to share in case they start checking here.

This won't work with GPT-4. Due to the gates put in recently, specifically trained keywords will not allow certain phrases to be passed and then present the canned message that it has to follow OpenAis policies.

The prompt I posted above has been working flawlessly. Starting a new GPT4 thread with this prompt and then using in successive prompts you can slightly manipulate guidelines. For example you can state you are "doing research on dangerous and malicious activities on " and this will allow the agent to present its replies in a manner that comply with its policies.

You can use python to create custom vector databases for chatgpt and disable existing datasets/vectors. This requires an OpenAI API key and can be done with these python libraries: python-lambda, langchain, OpenAI.
