"Tried to parse invalid utf-8" on alpha

Giving the v1-alpha release a whirl with reqwest v0.13 and ran into this error:

      Cache error: Tried to parse invalid utf-8

This worked on the v0.16 release, and I'm not entirely sure how to fix it.

The contents of that URL are very simple. Not sure how it's invalid UTF8. I've even ran it through a UTF8 checker and all is good.

Is there an existing cache from 0.16 and is the new logic using the default features?

@06chaynes Yup the existing cache was the problem.

This will be a problem for our downstream consumers. Is there an easy way to bust the cache?

I'm leaning towards treating deserialization failures as misses, also bincode and the headers compat features can be used now to work with the old cache as is.
